This unique 50/50 blend of Ordinal Piquepoul, Roussanne hails from the Languedoc near the small city of Pezenas.  The production team sought to craft a fresh and vibrant white with a twist, and achieved their goal with the dynamic pairing of Piquepoul and Roussanne.  The former provides lightness and refreshment, while the latter contributes intricate notes.

Ordinal Piquepoul, Roussanne is a wine of notable vigour and crispness.  The aromatic bouquet of white flowers is enhanced by a vibrant food-friendly acidity, resulting in an undeniably invigorating, thirst-quenching white wine.

This is perfect to accompany a wide selection of fresh seafood or any summer salad.

Winemaking Notes

Upon arrival at the winery the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel vessels at low temperatures.  This helps to retain the primary fruit aromas and flavours as well as freshness.  The wine is then aged for 6 months on fine lees to provide structure and complexity.
