About the region and producer

The Austrian Pfaffl winery who produce The Dot Austrian Peach Riesling is run by winemaker Roman Joseph Pfaffl and his sister Heidi Fischer who handles the administration and marketing. The winery is based in the village of Stetton in the Weinviertel region near Vienna but has vineyards located across 10 different villages. The winery has grown from the one acre acquired by their father in 1978 to 90 hectares now under their management. They were named European Winery of the Year 2016 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

The different vineyard sites have varying soils and micro climates that allow different styles of wine to be produced.

Beautiful wine for anytime

This is such a lovely wine, with creamy, peachy notes and a fresh finish. I first tried this wine on holiday and have struggled to find it ever since, try it and you won't be disappointed.

It's Nuts!

Was told about this at a tasting event in Aitken's and it's replaced my previous favourite. I'm no expert but it's great when you find something you like. I usually go for really dry but this is really flavourful and a bargain.
