The Dot Austrian Peach Riesling is a very pretty Riesling with lots and lots of pretty fruit. True to its name, this really is peachy – the juicy orange-blush kind. Lime and a wet sand minerality offer further notes of interest in this juicy little number.

About the region and producer
The Austrian Pfaffl winery who produce The Dot Austrian Peach Riesling is run by winemaker Roman Joseph Pfaffl and his sister Heidi Fischer who handles the administration and marketing. The winery is based in the village of Stetton in the Weinviertel region near Vienna but has vineyards located across 10 different villages. The winery has grown from the one acre acquired by their father in 1978 to 90 hectares now under their management. They were named European Winery of the Year 2016 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
The different vineyard sites have varying soils and micro climates that allow different styles of wine to be produced.
