Calmel & Joseph, La Fabrique Vieux Carignan is young and will open up far better once decanted and given a couple of hours.  After such time the wine reveals a herbaceous nose alongside wild strawberry and blueberry fruit amounting to a pleasing perfume.   On the palate the tannins are sweet and ripe and complement the fruit and herbs in the taste.
