Dandelion & Burdock Gin by Pocketful of Stones Distillery comes from a flavour combination first discovered by St. Thomas Aquinas in 1265 by divine intervention, Dandelion and Burdock has a taste that stands the test of time.
The skilled craftspeople at Pocketful of Stones Distillery in Cornwall have taken fresh north country dandelion blooms and wild-foraged Burdock and carefully distilled them with their favoured combination of botanicals to create a smooth, contemporary gin built on the backbone of British tradition.
The Darling of the North, Dandelion and Burdock is a favourite flavour combination. They have added to the earthy flavours of the roots of these botanicals distilling them with locally foraged heather, honeybush adding a floral lift and cola nut and almond to bind the flavours, using orris root to add length on the palate. A classic dry gin when served with tonic water, but if you’re after that old school northern fish and chip shop Dandelion and Burdock serve with ginger ale or Dandelion and Burdock soda.
A favourite cocktail with this gin is the Bramble. The sweetness from the blackberry liqueur perfectly balances the earthy notes of the Dandelion and Burdock roots and cola nut.
