All the character of Madiran without the tannic pain that traditionally came with Tannat from this part of south-west France. Full-bodied with smooth tannins, ferrous freshness and aromas and flavours of violet, plum, spice, vanilla, smoke and liquorice. Good with beef, game or lamb shanks.
