Finca Navahermosa 'Sol' Tempranillo is a fresh and fruit forward terroir driven style of wine.  It has ripe cherry aromas and a youthful appearance with clean crisp clear aromas of red fruits, strawberries and brambles.  There is a well-balanced acidity, ripe and supple tannins and a pleasing finish.

Finca Navahermosa 'Sol' Tempranillo is a cracking winter wine for red meat dishes or equally good in the summertime for drinking on its own or with a BBQ.

About the Producer

There are three estates that make up J. Fernando Family Wines: Finca Venta de Don Quijote – Bodegas VQ, located in El Toboso (Toledo), Bodegas Finca Navahermosa, in the historic town of Villaescusa de Haro (Cuenca) and Bodegas J. Fernando Rueda, in the well-known municipality of Rueda (Valladolid).

In all of them a common denominator is the production of wines from their own vineyards, controlled and cared for by the family.  During all their years, they have searched for the best terroir and the most suitable climatic conditions for growing the grapes for their wines, since the quality of the wines is the main objective of J. Fernando Family Wines.

As a producer they take care of every detail in the viticulture, this includes the presentation of the facilities.  Finca Navahermosa is an excellent example as it has a winery located in the center of its plain, from which you can enjoy views of the entire vineyard area.  Their facilities stand out for their modern outlook with the large winery well equipped with the latest technology to control the fermentation and storage of the wines.
