In a small country like Scotland everything is relatively local but Glencadam is probably the most local whisky distillery to us, located just a few miles away in Brechin. Their 10 year old single malt was our best selling whisky in 2019, and we love it. It's delicate and balanced. A great "beginners" whisky!

Origin 1825 - £32 ABV 40%

A no age statement release from Glencadam named after the year in which the distillery was founded. It's matured in bourbon barrels before spending a finishing period in Oloroso Sherry butts.

Glencadam 10 Year Old - £42 ABV 46%

This was first released in 2008 under the new ownership of Angus Dundee. Glencadam 10 stands as a delicate, balanced dram, neither coloured nor chill-filtered so it retains its true flavour.

Glencadam Reserva Andalucia - £40 ABV 46%

This new expression of Glencadam pays homage to the relationship between Glencadam Distillery and the famous sherry region of Spain, Jerez in Andalucia. The result is a rich and sherry-forward expression, where the famous fruitiness of the Glencadam spirit is balanced with sultana and sweet-spice notes, that come from the Oloroso cask maturation.

Glencadam 13 Year Old - £56 ABV 46%

Back in 2000, the Glencadam distillery was mothballed only to be reopened three years later in 2003. In 2017, to mark 13 years since the distillery reopening, Glencadam release this 13 Year Old expression, name The Reawakening. Only 6,000 bottles were produced.

Quality through and through.
Have repeatedly bought several bottles over the years and Glencadam 10 never fails to impress.
