Vineyard and Winery
The fruit for Helmsman Cabernet Merlot comes mainly from the Central Ranges area which includes the Cowra, Orange and Mudgee sites in New South Wales.
The wine is vinified in a way that allows the winemaker to retain as much fruit flavour as possible. This is done using stainless steel tanks and modern techniques which extract optimum colour, smooth ripe tannins and keep the wine fresh and ideal for drinking in its youth. Helmsman Cabernet Merlot is best consumed within four years of the vintage on the bottle.
