Mission Tinto Dos is made from a specially selected blend including rare varieties from parcels located on the Miño side of the Ribeira Sacra. Soils are of slate schist. The varietals were chosen to balance the sweet fruitiness of Mencia with acidity and perfume of Brancellao, ripe roundness of Merenzao and Garnacha Tintorera rusticity. A structured wine with silky tannins and firm natural acidity.
The natural acidity of this wine makes it excellent with a wide variety of foods. Most likely red meat dishes but try specifically with mushroom risotto or Beef Wellington.
