A really very attractive white blend from Stéphane Montez where the Viognier and the hint of Chardonnay provide broad, solid foundations and the interplay between the crispness and zest of the Clairette and the subtle 11 months in oak provides interest and surprise.  The deftest touch of oak adds texture and weight without overwhelming any of the fruit characters, and the finish just keeps going and going.
