This exceptional Talisker 12 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Douglas Laing's Old Particular range has a nose of damp bonfire embers, charred oak, barbequed mango, and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, enjoy the lightly toasted barley, Scottish sea salt, and citrus fruits with a pistachio shell quality. The medium-long finish offers home-baking fresh sponge cake, sweet pear, and stewed strawberries. An expertly crafted, complex whisky.

This Old Particular Talisker 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is one of 355 bottles from a single refill Hogshead.

About the Producer

Douglas Laing's Old Particular Single Cask range, highly sought-after and individually-selected Single Malt and Single Grain Scotch Whiskies all from renowned Scottish distilleries. They are all bottled the way the Distiller intended. This means there is no colouring added, the spirit is un-chillfiltered, and it arrives in your glass at a high alcohol strength.  All this allows the cask to keep the naturally present oils, fats and enzymes in the whisky that combine to offer the enhanced aroma, mouthfeel and flavour profile of the finest of spirits.

Established in 1948, Douglas Laing is a proudly independent, family owned Scotch Whisky business in its third generation. Over 70 years of heritage have helped to refine their processes, and deliver Whisky that is consistently exceptional in its offering.

Abiding to the philosophy of presenting Whisky as the Distiller intended, nothing is added and nothing is taken away from the spirit, enabling Whisky lovers around the world to come as close as they possibly can to sampling a dram straight from the Cask.
