Oscar Blanc is made from the Terret grape which for a while was a forgotten variety, it is indigenous to the region and grows very well in the clay, sandy, gravelly soils in the Hérault. Oscar Blanc by Domaine de la Dourbie has a good depth of yellow gold colour and offers notes of white-fleshed fruit as well as orchard and citrus fruits.  There is a beautiful freshness and lively acidity making it an excellent food friendly wine.
