From a producer with 100 years of wine heritage, the Paco Mulero wines are produced from vines cultivated in the north-eastern part of Jumilla - on high slopes with poor chalky, sandy soils. This is a top class red from old vine Monastrell with character and power, aged in French and American oak for 20 months, and then blended. An opulent nose of ripe bramble fruits, appealing oak and hints of mocha. The palate is full and complex with intense dried fruit flavours, sweet wood spice and ripe tannins.
Pair with roast meats, game and rich stews.
