This wine has aromas of apple pie and has plenty oomph to bring joy to the drinker. There is baked apple, a syrupyness along with herbal honeyed notes and poached pear. The palate has a wonderful smack of white pepper, ginger and Sichuan spice vibrating through the sweetness. So fresh!  The apple aroma and taste mean along with the sweetness mean this would be great with pork dishes, marinated ribs, Peking duck, Asian spiced prawns.  Indeed there are so many interesting and exciting ways to drink this wine! It will also age gracefully and offer different flavours as it matures, providing even more year after year.
