Pisco Aba is produced with the best and fine Moscatel de Alejandría grapes from a designated area in the unique and magical Elqui Valley , located in the high and clear mountains of the Andes. The grapes are first of all vinified and then carefully distilled in small traditional copper pot stills to produce a crystal clear brandy, infused with the smoothness and fragrance of Muscat grapes. It is fermented then distilled in a two-stage process and undergoes a short maturation period.
Pisco Aba has earned the highest praise from some of the industry's best-known critics. Dave Broom, writing in the February 2002 issue of Wine Magazine, says: "Very fragrant, all jasmine flowers, tangerine and honey… The palate is soft, silky and as sweet as syrup with the flavors of orange blossom honey…a Great Value."
