Coffee, chocolate and ripe fruit on the nose, on the palate this lovely red shows dark cherry, raisin notes with hints of bitter hazelnut and toast.  Indeed there is more than a hint of Amarone in the background. This is a full and forward wine that is delicious when young and always has the structure to improve for years.
