About the Producer
Tosti1820 has been producing wines and sparkling wines since 1820: more than 200 years of grape harvests in the name of quality for a family business run by the Bosca family for 8 generations. A heritage made up of years of tradition and culture in winemaking that led to identifying the best areas of cultivation and the best methods of processing grapes. This long experience allows Tosti1820 to produce quality bubbles with a strong identity.
For Tosti1820, the passion for wine is a family business. Today Giovanni Bosca, together with Mariacristina Castelletta, are the seventh generation at the helm of Tosti, while his sons Giulio and Guglielmo Bosca represent the eighth generation.
Tosti1820 values and tradition are unique, like its bottle, the only one in the world with the belly button, a patent registered and protected internationally.
To give even more communicative power to these core values of the brand, Tosti1820 decided to integrate the shape design of the bottle glass with the Tosti1820 logo, which communicates in a three-dimensional and tactile way together with the belly button. Vineyard and Winery
The grapes for this crowd pleasing party Prosecco come from a wide range of vineyards in Veneto including: Belluno, Gorizia, Padova, Pordenone, Trieste, Treviso, Udine, Venezia and Vicenza provinces. Harvest is done in the first 10 days of September.
In the winery the grapes are pressed and vinified at low-temperatures to retain freshness and primary fruit flavours. To create the bubbles there is a refermentation with the addition of sugary syrup and low-temperature refermentation in autoclave in order to obtain a 5,5 bar overpressure. Fermentation. This is halted through refrigeration.
