About the Producer
The Cave Coopérative de Germigny was created in the early 60's by a handful of winegrowers who wanted to pool their resources and craft their own Champagne. Their aim was to celebrate the local terroir - the western slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Today the Cooperative works 115 hectares of vineyards covering 40 different crus, of which 5 are classified as Premier Cru. The Co-op members remain passionate about their shared values of respect for nature, protecting their heritage and working together.
Vineyard and Winery
Created from vines planted on the western slopes of the Montagne de Reims which benefit from four different types of terroir. Vinified in tanks before being bottled with 9 - 9.5g dosage and then aged for 3 years. Finally the Champagne is rested for 6 months before disgorging.
