Expertly crafted, the Arran Sherry Cask Bodega Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky boasts complex layers of toffee, sweet spice, and fruit on the nose. On the palate, indulge in ripe fig and cherries, while the finish delights with dark chocolate, mandarins, and ripe figs. A truly sophisticated and flavourful experience.

Matured in some of the finest casks available to the whisky industry, this cask strength Sherry matured Single Malt is both luxurious and elegant with layers of rich sweet spice and oak.  The Master Distiller at Arran has worked with producers in some of the most prestigious Sherry Bodegas in Jerez, Spain to select only the best quality casks to be filled with this most precious spirit.  This bottling is a return to the style of some of the earliest Arran Single Malt, which was mostly matured in Sherry Casks.

About the Producer

Production began at their first distillery in beautiful Lochranza almost 30 years ago. Many other locations were considered at the time, but the proximity to Loch na Davie provided a rather special source of fresh water for distilling. It was clear that this would hold them in good stead in the years to come. The second distillery opened in the south of the island in 2019 at Lagg, where they make a very unique style of peated single malt Scotch Whisky.

The area is home to some of the purest water in all of Scotland – every drop of Arran Single Malt starts its life as rainwater which pools at Loch na Davie in the beautiful hills behind the distillery. The clear water cascades down the hillside, through six unassuming waterfalls, each one purifying the water further. The name of the burn, Easan Biorach, means 'Sharp Waterfalls' in Gaelic. The purity of the water means that they can create a clean, sweet dram which is entirely natural and unadulterated. They never add caramel or strip flavour out using chill filtration.
