Wines of the Month - September 2018

We’ve got a lot to look forward to this September. The new V and A museum opening, a whole new range of Enomatic wines at The Wine Press, and, of course, some new wines of the month.

We don’t want to admit that it’s nearly “That time of the year…” but it’s nearly that time of the year! The festive season is fast approaching, and we know that you all love a bit of fizz, so we’re putting this new frizzante on our wines of the month! Click the links below to find out more about each wine!

Frivolo Frizzante Prosecco, DOC Italy

A crisp and lively dry Italian sparkling with fresh floral aromas and zingy lemon, grapefruit, pear and green apple flavours. Perfect for evenings with friends!

Don’t believe what you’ve read in the papers, rosé isn’t just for sipping at garden parties in the summer. This delightful rosé was a favourite of ours during the heat wave, but we’re not ready to say goodbye to it just yet!

Viña Esmeralda Rosé, Torres 2017

Pale, ephemeral pink in colour. Delicate, subtle aroma of confected rose and fruit, the palate is light, airy, with an elegant citrus finish.

And finally, as the nights begin to draw in, it’s time to cosy up with a nice glass of red. We’ve chosen this Côtes du Rhône because of its lovely balance between spice and fruit, perfect for autumnal evenings, or paired with a juicy roast.

Réserve de Fleur, Côtes du Rhône 2015

Appealing aromas of plums and blackberries with a hint of spice, strawberries, and rhubarb. A light tannic grip enhances the generous feel to the juicy palate.

Make time for great wine!

Cheers!
