Serbal Petit Verdot is grown in a Single Vineyard at around 1300 metres above sea-level in the Uco Valley in Mendoza. The wine is bright purplish red in colour and opens on the nose with ripe black fruits and spicy notes, these continue onto the palate which is concentrated and intense. Serbal is the name in Argentina for the Rowan tree, a magic tree that wards off evil spirits and grows very well alongside the vines on the mountains of Tupungato.
