Mandois Blanc de Blancs Brut 2018 has pale yellow colour with yellow gold reflections. The nose is delicate and fresh, with white-fleshed fruit flavours and floral notes including a touch of verbena and fresh almond. The pallet is fruity with notes of floral flavours creating a particularly harmonious wine. The finish is completed with a salty perception enhancing its delicacy. This Blanc de Blancs Brut has a delicate yet complex flavour profile and can be paired with your meal from appetizer to dessert. It will also be perfect with a simple apple pie or to accompany a Saint-Pierre with hazelnut butter and pan-fried fennel.

Decanter World Wine Awards: 92Pts Silver Medal
"Rather quiet lemon shortbread character with notes of lime zest and crunchy green apples. Bright and juicy in the palate."

About the Producer
The history of the Mandois house dates back to 1735, when Jean Mandois, then based in Epernay, became a winegrower in the Côte des Blancs. His great-grandson, Victor, began to vinify his wines in 1867 and settled in the heart of the village of Pierry in 1905. Today managed by Claude Mandois, 9th generation, the house presses and vinifies its entire 37-hectare vineyard in Pierry. Out of these 37 hectares planted with 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir, 32 hectares have been certified organic since 2020.

The continental influence is responsible for favorable sunshine in the summer.
The oceanic influence brings water in regular quantities with little annual thermal contrasts. This double influence offers the guarantee of a constant and moderate rainfall favoring an almost ideal water supply and essential to the quality of the grapes (average volume of precipitation = 700mm per year).
