The handpicked “Filippo Cea” almonds grow only in Puglia, Italy, and are well known for their amazing quality.
Their subtle bitterness is the key for this crunchy and modern amaretto.
After being roasted for hours in a wood-burning oven, they get macerated and finally distilled.
The coffee is added with cinnamon, cocoa and a bit of brown sugar (less than the 50% that’s usually used in others amaretto) to make this amaretto even richer and complex.
