The Phinca Hapa Blanco offers an exceptional flavour adventure with smoky, orange peel, tropical fruit, and ripe apricot notes. Its creamy, textured body comes from the extended grape skin contact creating a lush palate coating that lingers long on the finish. A unique, delicious and 'must try' white Rioja.

About the Producer
There are few better winemaker stories than that of Phinca Hapa's Melanie Hickman and her American bulldog Hapa.
Originally from Hawaii, Melanie fell in love with a Riojan winemaker David Sampedro of Phinca Bhilar and move to start a life in Spain. Her passion for wine has lead her to purchase her own vineyard plots and start her Struggling Vines natural winemaking project.
Vineyard and Winery
Sourced from the white limestone soils of our Biodynamic estate vineyard, Hapa. This artisanal wine is hand harvested in 10 kilo cases following a rigorous selection in the vineyard. Once in the winery, the grapes are crushed, placed in a concrete tank and undergo spontaneous fermentation with the skins for 2 months. The wine is then pressed and placed in 600L French foudres for 1 year.
