Feudo Arancio Grillo, a beautiful Sicilian white wine that captivates with exotic character. Deep straw yellow in colour, this elegant expression is full of vibrant tropical notes including mango and papaya, beautifully interwoven with delicate hints of jasmine and wildflowers. The palate is a harmonious balance with a refreshing and refined acidity and impressive flavour persistence and luxurious texture in equal measure. Versatile and food-friendly, it pairs wonderfully with seafood, pasta, grilled poultry, and baked fish—making it the perfect companion for summer entertaining and light dishes.

"A complete Grillo! Appetising white peach and salted lemons on the nose with a vibrant mineral character on the palate. Bursting with allure and charisma."

About the Producer

Feudo Arancio consists in fact of two estates, with red varieties planted at Sambuca di Sicilia in the northwest of the island, and whites in Acate near its southern coast. The range is united both by its beautiful Moorish-influenced labels, and also the quality credentials of the owner, the exemplary Gruppo Mezzacorona.

Vineyard and Winery

Acate, in the province of Ragusa. This variety prefers typically sandy, sloped and sunny terrain. The type of farming used is “Espalier”, with an average density of planting where there are 4500 plants per 2.5 Acres.

The sustainably cultivated Grillo is often harvested at night in the second week of September. The grapes are soft pressed and destemmed in full protection from the air (reduction). The natural settling and fermentation take place at a controlled temperature of 18 °C for some days. The wine is aged on its lees for several months, in stainless steel tanks with continuous battonage, to enrich the body of the wine.
