Living Souls 18-year-old Ledaig Single Malt Scotch whisky is a liquid that embodies the essence of the Scottish countryside. Imagine yourself standing outside a cottage, nestled amidst towering mountains, with smoke gently billowing from the chimney. The air is crisp, carrying the scent of fresh apples and smoky tones, harmoniously merging with the rustic outdoors. Each sip of this whisky is designed to transport you to this tranquil scene, capturing the serene beauty of nature and the rich heritage of Scottish whisky making.
What makes this release truly rare and remarkable is the combination of both these single malts. By blending the robust, smoky character of Ledaig with the subtle, fruity notes of Tobermory, they have created a whisky that offers a unique and complex flavour profile. It’s a harmonious combination that showcases the best of both worlds, making it a treasure for any whisky explorer.
Ledaig, pronounced “Le-chayg,” is a single malt produced at the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. Founded in 1798, Tobermory is one of the oldest commercial distilleries in Scotland, with a rich history and a dedication to traditional whisky-making methods. The distillery produces two distinct styles of whisky: the unpeated Tobermory and the peated Ledaig.
