Rum
Rum is made from Molasses, cane syrup or sugar cane juice which is distilled to a strength of under 96% abv and requires a minimum bottling strength of at least 37.5% abv. It cannot be flavoured though caramel colour can be added, as can up to 20 grams per litre of sugar for rounding out high alcohol. We have a cracking range of Rum from around the Caribbean.
We also have Spiced Rums which have more relaxed rules. These are made by macerating ingredients to flavour the Rum. We are lucky enough to have a couple of local ones on our shelves and even have one which is made on the Scottish Island of Rùm.
