Discover Domaine Cornu-Camus, Pernand-Vergelesses - a dark ruby wine with intense purple reflections. With low yields and from 40-year-old vines, the nose reveals intensity with ripe strawberry and raspberry notes. On the palate, experience mouth-filling flavours of red summer fruits. This wine is a seducer of all senses, perfect for pairing with hearty, well-seasoned meats.
About the Producer
The estate is situated in Echevronne, a delightful village in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. It is a family-run operation, passed down through generations. After studying oenology at Dijon faculty, Pierre Cornu took over his parents' vineyard. In 1981, he married Bernadette Camus, also a winegrower from a family of winegrowers in Savigny-Lès-Beaune. Today, this 12-hectare estate is tended to with utmost care throughout the year in order to produce the finest wine. They use sustainable practices to protect the environment and harvest the grapes by hand.
