Tasting Notes & Food Pairings
Pours a bright, pale straw with golden glints. The nose is inviting and expressive, opening with fragrant aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine, and orange blossom, followed closely by ripe white peach, fresh apricot, and a squeeze of mandarin citrus.
On the palate, it delivers classic Viognier texture without ever tipping into heaviness. Crisp orchard pear, succulent peach, and nectarine flavours coat the mouth, balanced by lively Mediterranean acidity and a faint touch of creamy spice from gentle oak contact. The finish is clean, fragrant, and appetizingly fresh, leaving a lingering note of stone fruit and candied lemon zest.
Food Pairings:
Wonderfully versatile at the table. Pour alongside mild and fragrant spiced dishes like chicken korma, Thai green vegetable curry, or coronation chicken. It also pairs brilliantly with pan-fried sea bass, crab cakes, roast pork loin served with apple chutney, or a simple goat's cheese and caramelised onion tart.
About the Producer

Working in partnership with dedicated French growers, the team behind Pictorial crafts wines that are vibrant, accessible, and ready to pull the cork on any evening of the week.
Vineyard & Winery
Viticulture & Terroir:
The Viognier grapes are sourced from selected vineyard parcels situated around the warm, sun-soaked plains of Narbonne in the Languedoc. Here, long sunny Mediterranean days ensure optimal ripeness and aromatic concentration, while maritime breezes rolling in off the coast prevent the grapes from overcooking and help preserve vital acidity. Soils are a blend of clay and limestone, providing the vines with balanced water retention during hot, dry summer spells.
Winemaking & Maturation:
Grapes were harvested early in the morning at peak aromatic maturity to protect freshness and primary fruit oils. Following gentle pressing and cold settling, the juice underwent a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to retain pure floral and stone-fruit aromatics. To add textural roundness and subtle depth, the crisp base wine was carefully married with a small, lightly oaked parcel, lending gentle spice and creamy mouthfeel before being fined using vegan-friendly methods and bottled young.
