Created in Lviv, Ukraine, Mikolasch is a single farm Ukrainian vodka established in Lviv in 1842. This delicious spirit is made from corn and pure well water and is distilled and bottled by Fabrica Mikolasch, Ukraine

In 1942 construction of a larger distillery and factory for the production of rum, liqueurs and vinegar, cost 25 thousand guilders, equipped with two steam engines and a large distillation apparatus. The plant became one of the largest in the city, producing 500 buckets (intriguing measurement) of rectified alcohol daily.

In 1933 The arrival of the USSR on the territory of western Ukraine, included the nationalisation of the plant. Inclusion of the plant into a single distillery trust meant
termination of its activities as an independent enterprise. There is no information about the plant's activities during the Soviet period.
