Experience the warm glow of Fettercairn 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky. This award-winning whisky has been aged for 12 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a stunning sunlight and amber honey hue. The inviting taste of vanilla, pear, and soft spices gives way to a refreshing finish of nectarine and tropical fruit, accented by hints of roasted coffee, clove, and ginger. Finally, savour the lasting memory of sultanas and black toffee. Indulge in this signature tropical house style with every sip of this welcoming single malt whisky.
About the Producer
The founder of Fettercairn, Sir Alexander Ramsay was one of the Scottish landowners who campaigned to license Scotch Whisky distillation. In 1824, he was one of the first to apply for a license, and the Fettercairn distillery was opened.
But despite Ramsay’s campaigning for regulation, he was a canny businessman, and he recruited illegal whisky makers to be his first stillmen. He recognised only they had the knowledge and skills he needed. So, from the very beginnings, they have been doing things a little differently in the pursuit of great whisky.
