About the Producer

Bodegas Alejandro is a winery, where tradition and passion have intertwined to bring great wines to life since 1982. In the winemaking philosophy, they have learned that haste is not a good companion in the art of winemaking.

Pride is taken in working the land, knowing every corner of their vineyards, and passionately embracing the work at hand. They believe the climate of the area provides them with the ideal temperatures for growing grapes with character and personality, essential for creating unique wines.

Every bottle that leaves this winery is the result of years of dedication, effort, and patience . It is understood that time and care are essential to creating wines that will live long in your memory, with each sip telling the story of the vineyards.

The estate spans 45 hectares of vineyards, home to diverse grape varieties that reflect the richness of a terroir. Located in the picturesque Comarca del Medio Vinalopó, in the rural area known as El Mañán, part of the historic city of Monóvar, just 40 kilometers from the vibrant city of Alicante.

Vineyard and Winery

Merseguera is a native variety of white grape. One of its features is great resistance to drought and a slow ripening cycle for late harvest. The Merseguera cluster is medium in size with round, yellowish-green berries. Vineyards planted in goblet system under natural conditions. Located at an altitude of 600m with soils poor in organic matter.

In September with the grapes already ripe, very clean musts are obtained, fermenting at 16℃, with native yeasts. Four months in barrels prior to bottling.
