Indulge in the expertly crafted Bodegas Neleman Chardonnay Muscat. The chardonnay's late picking captures its ripe flavour, while the early harvest of muscat maintains its refreshing acidity and delicate floral tones. Enjoy aromas of fresh flowers and notes of white peach and citrus, balanced with a crisp finish. Featuring a helix cork for easy opening. Ideal for pairing with sushi, sashimi, and veggie terrines.

About the Producer

Dutchman Derrick Neleman studied to become a biodynamic farmer. After his training he ended up on vineyards in Spain and realised this is where he wanted to make his own wine. He settled in Valencia and focusses on making wines which reflect the terroir. All Neleman wines are made without the use of pesticides or additives and are certified vegan. They also plant trees to compensate their CO2 emissions and are carbon proof certified.

Vineyard and Winery

The Neleman wines reflect the aromas and flavours of a precious and perfect terroir. This white wine comes from their vineyard in Casa Corones, in Alforins Valley. The soil is white limestone. Its surprising whiteness on the surface gives its name to the entire region: Vall d’Albaida. The terrain absorbs moisture like a sponge. When it dries up, the upper layers form a natural barrier, restricting evaporation. This reserve of moisture contributes to the root development.

The white varieties are harvested early on in the season to preserve good acidity, they are also picked at night to protect them from oxidation. The grapes have been processed separately after an exhaustive selection by hand to select only the best grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature between 14-15 °C.
