Intensely smoky with hints of apple and burnt treacle, beguilingly smooth after a punchy nose. The finish unashamedly reminds you of this rum's fiery origin.
Burning Barn is based on a fruit farm. For their smoked rum they take apple wood from retired apple trees, chip and dry it before using it to cold smoke a fruity, treacly aged Demerara rum. The result is an award-winning sipping rum.
Try it on the rocks or in this would work perfectly in a smoked rum old fashioned and a dark and smokey!
About the Producer
The burning barn rum brand started after an enormous fire engulfed their family farm. The fire inspired the brand and the flavours they use. That’s why we roast the spices for their Spiced Rum themselves and why they use apple wood from their own orchard to smoke their Smoked Rum.
