The fruit for "Red Door" Cake Shiraz comes from Diamond Ridge, Spring Hill and Anvers which lie in the south of the Adelaide Hills wine region. This area enjoys warm days and cool nights which is perfect for the development of complex flavours in the Shiraz. Ripe raspberries, blackcurrants, licorice and pepper on the palate with supple tannins and a sweet spice character from a combination of French and American oak.
Works as well with a BBQ as you'd expect. Great with other Red Meat such as Venison and Lamb. Also good with a Moroccan Spiced Veg Dish.

A fantastic Red, have been drinking it for around 3 years and can’t find better.
Smooth, full bodied and reasonably priced, can’t see passed it.
