Clynelish 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a yellow gold whisky with a medium body. Upon adding a splash of water, it reveals a delightful waxy feel. Subtle aromas of dried flowers and brown sugar are complemented by a smooth, maritime-infused mouthfeel and a pleasant, delicately salty finish.
About the Producer
In 1819 the Clynelish Distillery was founded on Scotland's remote North-East Coast by the future Duke of Sutherland and the Wild Cat mark is inspired by the Sutherland Coat of Arms.
A mile or so away the Clynemilton burn enters a rocky gorge and tumbles over several falls before its water is caught in a stone cistern and piped to the Distillery.
