Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Nuits-St-Georges opens with captivating notes of dark berries and warming spice. A wine of considerable structure and depth, it reveals layers of complexity that unfold beautifully over time, gaining silky texture and refinement with bottle age. Built to cellar for at least 5 to 7 years with plenty oomph to age beyond this, this is a serious Pinot Noir with the backbone to accompany game, venison, and richly roasted meats. Serve at 17–18°C to fully appreciate its elegant, charming character.

About the Producer
Bouchard Père & Fils have embodied the soul and values of Burgundy for close to three centuries.
During the first half of the 18th century, Michel Bouchard, a cloth merchant from the Dauphiné region in eastern France, regularly travelled through Burgundy on his way to Flanders. Over the course of these many journeys, he grew fond of the Beaune region and its wines. He then expanding his business by entering the wine trade.
Henriot and the Champagne region, Bouchard and Burgundy: the encounter of two cloth merchants and two exceptional vineyards. In 1995, the Henriot family took the helm of Bouchard Père & Fils. From 1996, Joseph Henriot further enriched the Domaine with the acquisition of new, prestigious terroirs.
The decision to convert to organic farming practices began in 2009. Since then, agroecological practices have been gradually implemented across the Domaine. The decision to convert all the entire Domaine to organic practices is the result of a collective commitment from the family, the management, and the teams who work on location daily. Starting with the 2025 vintage, all of the estate's plots will be certified organic.

Capital of the Côte de Nuits, this village is the home to the Hospices de Nuits that organises an important auction of its production every year, as do the Hospices de Beaune. The main street in Nuits-Saint-Georges is named after Fagon, the doctor who treated Louis XIV and prescribed the town's wine for him. This is the most southernly appellation of the Côte de Nuits producing wines rich in tannin which gives them strength, depth and a high potential for laying down, from five to fifteen years.
