Domaine de la Baume's Cuvée Grand Châtaignier Merlot features a pretty purple-red colour with purple reflections and aromas of wild strawberries, cherries, brambles, blueberries, peppermint and spices. On the palate, it is a round and fruity wine with a grippy tannic structure and a long, persistent finish. Perfect for pairing with rack of lamb, burgers, venison, and cheese.

About the Producer

For more than a century, the Domaine de la Baume has perpetuated a wine-growing tradition and produces captivating wines with strong aromatic potential. Anchored in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon, on the outskirts of the small village of Servian, between Béziers and the medieval town of Pézenas, the Domaine is a source of inspiration. A true haven of peace located in a quiet area, surrounded by nature, it embodies the warmth of the south, conviviality, sharing and love for the land.

A team of passionate people, who love the vine, work daily to ensure the influence of the estate and perpetuate the know-how of past generations. Domaine de la Baume's expertise in the vineyards and in the cellar, combined with modern winemaking techniques, allow the creation of a wide range of varietal wines. The imprint of the property is expressed through the diversity of the cuvées, wines of pleasure, unique, with a very particular style, for amateurs and connoisseurs.
