About the Producer
The goal for Atlantic Galician Wineries is to show Spain and the world that Galicia is, par excellence, one of the richest regions in wine diversity. All the designations of origin are distinct, yet they share something in common. The pursuit of quality, crafted with care by skilled hands, is a way of life for them. The project began with a dream on a summer day in the Ribeira Sacra and it grows more ambitious every day. The only limits are those set by their imagination.
Life and work have led to meeting people who feel the same way about this world as they do. This project is made up of friends, joining forces in pursuit of a common goal.
They seek the commitment of friends and fellow travelers to carry out their project. The people at Atlantic Galician Wineries feel we are all, in one way or another, part of their endeavor. "We are nothing more and nothing less than Friendship, Perseverance, Hard Work, and a glass of good wine. Cheers!"
Vineyard and Winery
Comes from vineyards that have been passed down through generations, centuries-old terraces located in the Ribeira de Vilacha, which are cultivated using traditional methods to ensure the highest quality. Our vineyards are located in areas of slate origin on granitic bedrock, rainfall is scarce (between 750/1100mm annually) concentrated in the winter months and average annual temperatures range between 13º-14ºC. Massimo is made with the Mencía and Sousón grape varieties. The grapes are selected in the vineyard itself, and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. At controlled temperature.
