About the Production and Vintage
For the vine cycle, the year 2020 was characterized by a balance in terms of temperatures and rainfall. The 2019 ended with plentiful rainfal in November and December and the year began with a dry yet very cold winter, typical of the region. The spring temperature rises came with April rainfall increases, which continued into May and June. Summer was not as hot as other years and there were storms in July and August. Harvest was towards the end of September ending on October 7th. The grapes for Parajes de Callejo, Ribera del Duero had optimal sugar ripeness and maturity while maintaining acidity, which provides the freshness, all this translated into a beautiful and balanced, defined and rounded wine.
