The Quinta da Falorca Encruzado Reserva is a sophisticated white wine with upfront tropical and ripe fruit notes. It has a rich, fresh, and full-bodied palate, with just the right amount of mineral texture and vegetal notes. These complex flavours culminate in a long and stylish finish.

Vineyard and Winery
Granitic soil composition underlies this blend of grapes from the Barreiro vineyard where the vines have an average age of 30 years and Vale das Escadinhas (80 yrs) grapes, cultivated with a south-facing aspect and at 450m above sea-level, producing 40hl/ha.
Grapes were hand-harvested and kept cold for 24 hours before total destemming. After gentle crushing, a temperature-controlled fermentation of 10-16°C took place in stainless steel vats for 29 days. Batonnage was conducted periodically to preserve freshness and add complexity to the texture.
