Violante is Rivera's Nero di Troia, a traditional style with a deep violet aroma and a bright, easy-to-drink, fruitiness. It combines intense, instantly recognisable aromas and flavours with a robust structure and body.
A vibrant shade of purple-red, Rivera 'Violante' Nero di Troia offers a generous bouquet of wild red berry fruit, notes of sweet violet, and a medium-bodied palate that is both fruity and mineral, with a lingering and long finish. Its juicy and elegant flavors are further complemented by hints of raspberry, violet, and white pepper.
This Nero di Troia pairs well with local pastas, meats, and cheese such as Burrata, as well as being enjoyable when consumed with simple snacks.
