Violante is Rivera's Nero di Troia, a traditional style with a deep violet aroma and a bright, easy-to-drink, fruitiness. It combines intense, instantly recognisable aromas and flavours with a robust structure and body.

A vibrant shade of purple-red, Rivera 'Violante' Nero di Troia offers a generous bouquet of wild red berry fruit, notes of sweet violet, and a medium-bodied palate that is both fruity and mineral, with a lingering and long finish. Its juicy and elegant flavours are further complemented by hints of raspberry, violet, and white pepper.

This Nero di Troia pairs well with local pastas, meats, and cheese such as Burrata, as well as being enjoyable when consumed with simple snacks.

About the Producer

In the hands of the third generation of the family, represented by Sebastiano and Marco, the most up-to-date viticultural and oenological practices are married to the deepest respect for natural processes. Their programme of uncompromising quality begins with the expert management of 75 hectares of estate vineyards, farmed according to the protocols of sustainable viticulture. The vineyards are located at 200-230 metres with deep tufa-limestone soils, yielding fine native-variety grapes, the whites with firm acidities and the reds of impressive elegance and structure.
