Rooster Rojo Añejo Tequila is a sophisticated sipping tequila aged for at least one year in used bourbon barrels. Its 100% Blue Weber agave base has taken on the notes imparted by the oak. There is chocolate, tobacco, coffee, caramel, and vanilla, and the result is a smooth, rich beautiful drink with a long-lasting finish.
The name Añejo roughly translates to mean ‘aged’ or ‘vintage’ which means that tequila Añejo is silver tequila that has been left to mature from between one to three years.
