Santiago Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from established vineyards in Chile's Central Valley. To retain the primary fruit flavours the grapes undergo a relatively short and cool temperature controlled fermentation with maceration on the skins for only a few days to extract nice colour and without extensive tannins. The finished wine is unoaked and bottled soon after completion to preserve the youthful style.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is filled to the brim with juicy red and black fruits including strawberries and cherries, it is a very soft and pure example of Cabernet Sauvignon with gentle tannins and a hint of greenness on the finish. Herbs and spices intermingle helping this youthful firecracker to work as an excellent accompaniment to food.
