The Octave 2017 Glenkinchie 8 Year Old Single Malt Whisky starts with a beautiful cut grass freshness which give way to ripe apples, perhaps even overripe which would come from the small 60Ltr Oloroso cask in which this whisky was finished. There is a sweet peanut characteristic as well as sherbet lemons and white chocolate lasting through to the finish.
