This Sauvignon Blanc from the Western Cape is pale lemon in colour with a very fresh nose of gooseberry, cut grass and lemon. The palate has vibrant aromatics of zesty lemon, white flowers and nettle. The lively acidity gives this wine a very crisp and fresh feel and combines with the fruity, citrussy flavours to provide a long and clean finish.

Serve with oysters with lemon and chilli, crab or smoked salmon.

This is a decent wine at a very reasonable price. The sort of bottle you need to have on stand by when the family drop in!

I do like south African wine but this one was absolutely delightful, very refreshing and light. Would recommend it delicious with fish

Still think good South African wines are not sufficiently appreciated here. This one while not earth shattering is good and good value
