Austria is best known for its white grape, Grüner Veltliner, that grows in many of the country's wine regions. Grüner Veltliner is an especially popular wine in restaurants. Austria is also known for its excellent Riesling. Austrian grapes also include some tasty red varieties like Saint Laurent, Blaufrankisch, and Zweigelt.
