Stift Klosterneuburg, Grüner Veltliner comes from the abbey’s vineyards in Klosterneuburg which are located on both terraces as well as steeply sloping ground.  The slopes along with the River Danube provide a favourable microclimate meaning the Grüner Veltliner grapes have excellent conditions to produce wines of impressive consistent quality every year.

The wine is light straw yellow in colour.  On the nose there are green and yellow apple aromas with citrus notes.  Distinctly herbaceous with typical Grüner Veltliner pepperiness on the palate.  Very juicy with lively acidity and good structure making this an excellent food friendly wine.

Pair Stift Klosterneuburg, Grüner Veltliner with light salads, a wide variety of fish and beef dishes or with Schnitzel.

Stift Klosterneuburg, Grüner Veltliner Klosterneuburg is currently available in The Wine Press, Dundee's Finest Wine Bar.
